Description:
The Landscape Masonry Foreman has a minimum of five years of experience in Landscape & Masonry. The Landscape Masonry Foreman must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of Masonry to include: operating all equipment; building decks, patios, dry-stack stone walls, block walls, mortaring stone or brick, etc.; and interfacing with customers. He/She requires minimal supervision, runs and works together with a two to three man crew in a safe manner and while meeting all budgets and deadlines.

Skill set and educational requirements:
The Masonry Foreman, who is a WORKING FOREMAN, must possess the following skill set and educational background:
Physically able to handle the work-load of a Landscape & Masonry Leadman and/or Laborer.
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
Have a clean criminal record.
Bilingual in Spanish and English in oral and written forms.
Able to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Responsibilities:
Thoroughly understands all aspects of landscape masonry as outlined above. Anticipates problems and plans ahead for needed materials, equipment, and assistance.
Able to operate company equipment: skid steer, mini-excavator, mini-skid steer, tracked loader, masonry/chop saws, etc.
Able to perform all daily preventative maintenance (PM) on company equipment.
Able to operate a transit, shoot grades and grade sites.
Able to read related plans and drawings.
Able to lay out the job site and estimate materials.
Has the leadership capability to effectively manage and direct a crew of two to three people. Able to train crew as a team and maintain a high level of morale.
Ensures that jobs are kept on schedule and on budget.
Thoroughly understands and complies with company policies, procedures, and Safe Operating Practices. Ensures that all safety procedures are followed and reports any unsafe conditions to supervisors.
Ensures all accidents are properly documented and reported immediately.
Is organized in all areas. Maintains a clean jobsite and/or crew truck at all times.
Able to fill out and process all necessary job paperwork, and time sheets, etc
Able to interact with clients, subcontractors, architects, etc. in a professional manner.
Able to work with minimal supervision from Construction Manager/Supervisor but knows when to ask for assistance.
Is certified in CPR and First Aid, or is willing to get certified.
Continuing education requirement: minimum of 10 hours per year.
Pay: Commensurate with experience $25.00 to $30.00 per hour ($52,000 to $62,400 per year). Employees are paid for 8 Annual Holidays. Bonuses paid at the end of each year.
